blaiva Editorial Team · November 2, 2026

The titles and descriptions of AI BL videos are full of terms that can look unfamiliar at first. That's because long-standing BL genre vocabulary is mixed together with new words that have emerged from AI video production. Here are 20 frequently seen terms, explained with meanings and examples.

Story and Genre Terms

Hyeomgwan (Enemies-to-Lovers)
Short for "hyeomo gwangye," meaning a relationship of hatred. A story in which the feelings of two people who hate or compete with each other change. Example: the racing rivals story "Brake ONE."

Prompt
Text that tells the AI what to create. It describes things like scene composition, lighting, and characters' expressions.
Image-to-Video

Character Consistency
Making the same character look like they have the same face across multiple scenes. It is considered the hardest part of making AI dramas.
